Kylian Mbappe Speaks On Leaving PSG
PSG forward Kylian Mbappe has insisted he has not asked to leave the club this season after various rumors.
The international player for France has reportedly decided not to exercise his right to extend his contract until 2025.
As a result, there are suggestions that the 24-year-old will be sold by the club during the summer transfer window.
Because of this, transfer window expert Fabrizio Romano stated on Tuesday that it appears Mbappé must make a choice. The French giants are giving their top player a choice between signing a new deal or selling him to avoid losing him for free.
Speaking to a media outlet, Kylian Mbappe revealed that he has not asked to leave PSG.
“I didn’t ask to leave PSG or to join Real Madrid,” Mbappé told the Italian media outlet. I just told the club that I won’t activate the option to extend the contract until June 2025. We never discussed new deal with PSG, but I’m happy to stay here next season.” He said.
Real Madrid are rumored to be interested, and it remains to be seen whether PSG are willing to let him leave this summer.
