Sabina Chege Accuses Millie, Buyu Of Stealing Her Phone

Sabina Chege injured following Parliament chaos
Nominated MP Sabina Chege has accused a section of women Azimio legislators who attacked her in Parliament chaos on Tuesday of stealing her phone.
Speaking during the coffee summit in Meru, Chege asked DP Rigathi Gachagua, to weigh in on the matter as she explained to him why she was unreachable.
“I want to send Cecily Mbarire to women who beat me yesterday, Hon. Millie Odhiambo and Rosa Buyu, they even stole my phone please ask them to hand back my phone even though they beat me”
“Apart from beating me, they proceeded to steal my phone. It is an iPhone 14, and your Excellency (DP Gachagua), I request for your intervention and support so that I can recover the phone.” Sabina said.

The commotion followed Speaker Wetangula’s decision not to oust Sabina Chege from the deputy minority whip post.
As a result of the chaos, Millie Odhiambo (Suba North), Rozaah Buyu (Kisumu West), TJ Kajwang (Ruaraka) and Sabina Chege were suspended for two weeks while Malindi MP Fatuma Mnyazi and Catherine Omanyo (Busia) will both serve a five-day suspension.
