Vincent Onyala Set To Return For KCB Rugby Team

After missing six months of training due to an injury, Shujaa international Vincent Onyala has given KCB RFC a huge boost ahead of the National Sevens season.
Vincent Onyala has not played since October of last year because of a knee ailment, but he just started working out with the Sevens team last month. He might be able to participate in the Eldoret Sevens’ opening match in July.
Coach Amonde was thrilled with the performance when the bankers defeated the hosts, Nakuru RFC, 24-12 in the final of the Great Rift Valley 10-a-side competition last month as a warm-up for the start of the series, and now Onyala’s return will be a big boost.
Speaking on his return, Onyala said they will compete for the title.
“I’m delighted and looking forward to the experience of coaching our young side. I have been used to playing, but this is a different ball game —giving instructions from the sidelines, “The four teams are going to be strong alongside ourselves as we battle for the crown.” He said.
