Michael Olunga, the captain of the Harambee Stars, has teamed up with St. Joseph’s Boys High School in Kitale to mentor and cultivate upcoming football stars.

On Wednesday, the striker from Qatar and his Michael Olunga Football Academy (MOFA) reached an agreement with the institution’s headmaster, Cosmas Nabungolo.

St. Joseph’s Boys joined Agoro Sare in Homabay, St. Mary’s Yala in Siaya, and Kisumu Day in Kisumu as the fourth school to gain from the MOFA relationship.

Speaking after the agreement, Olunga said he was happy to develop football stars.

“I’m happy to be associated with St. Joseph’s Boys, especially with the principal (Nabungolo), a renowned football lover and coach. MOFA has today entered into a partnership agreement with the school to develop and train talents in Trans Nzoia County,” said Olunga.

Olunga also added that Kenya has the opportunity to be able to produce some of the biggest stars in the world. He also said that he would establish at least one academy in each of the 47 countries.
