Court Uphold Decision To Have Pastor Ezekiel’s Accounts Frozen

Embattled Pastor Ezekiel Odero has suffered a major blow after Mombasa High Court today upheld a decision to have his accounts frozen.

 

The  New Life International Church Pastor On Wednesday, May 3, through his lawyers moved to ruling seeking freezing his accounts overturned.

 

However, Mombasa High Court Judge Olga Sewe in his ruling termed Pastor Ezekiel’s applications as misconceived while refraining from commenting on the legality of previous order.

 

Judge Sewe further dismissed Ezekiel’s request to have his TV station back on air as he advised the embattled preacher to use all legal means available in engaging the Communications Authority of Kenya before presenting any petition before the court.

 

The the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) earlier opposed the reopening of the accounts as they claimed that would interfere with investigations on suspected money laundering.
