Mustafa Opens Up On His Leaked Mjengo Hustle
Celebrated rapper Colonel Mustafa alias Lipunda has admitted engaging in Mjengo gigs.
In interview with Mpasho News, the rapper disclosed his current state of living after going bankrupt some years back.
During the interview, he disclosed that he was on Wednesday evening shocked after bumping on a trending news about his mjengo hustle that sent him some tense despite having kept it a secret.
” After that information nimeshindwa hata kutembea, kwani huwezi jitafutia, sasa itakuwa aje? Na siko vizuri ivo, mambo ni ngumu bana” he said .

On Thursday morning, Lipunda started trending on social media as users share a video clip showing the Lenga Stress hitmaker hustling at a city Mjengo site.
This made Kenyans in wonder on how and when Mr Lipunda got himself working in a Mjengo.
As the case, this prompted media personalities to dig deep and unearth the truth behind Lipunda’s current lifestyle.
” Ni kweli kwamba for the past 1 year nimekuwa nikifanya kazi ya mjengo kwa sababu hali yangu ilienda chini kiuchumi, natumia mikono yangu kujilisha siwezi kuenda kuiba. Mjengo imenisaidia kwa sasa na hii si kiki ya kutoa wimbo” Mustafa told Mseto Extra.
Further, he disclosed that he never wanted to come on social media and disclose his changed lifestyle for fear of mockery from the public. As the case, he kept it a secret even to his close people who he allege, some could have shared a screenshot of him requesting for help.
Even though the hustle ain’t for the faint-hearted, he claimed being contented with his hustle that he uses some money to cater for the bill of his ailing mum attending some cancerous chemo and radiotherapy treatment.
“Hii kitu she has had it for 8 months. It’s crazy, myself imekuwa noma,” opens up about his ailing mum.
