Pastor Ezekiel Odero Arrested, His Church Closed
Televangelist Pastor Ezekiel Odero of New Life Prayer Centre and Church has been arrested over alleged indoctrination as Kilifi cult probe continues.
He has been arrested just a day after he was grilled for hours over cultism claims that he disputed.
According to Coast Regional Commissioner Rhodah Onyancha, the pastor arrest follows claims of dead bodies reported on his premises.
He was also ordered to close down his church in Mavueni.
“He is being brought to Mombasa for grilling. More information will be availed,” Rhodah affirmed.
He is currently at Coast Police Headquarters.
