Pep Guardiola Sends Message To Manchester United Ahead Of Manchester Derby FA Final

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola took a dig at Manchester United after their 3-0 win over Sheffield United on Saturday.

Ahead of a potential Manchester derby in the FA Cup final, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has asked Manchester United not to be scared of his team if they qualify for the final.

Manchester City booked a spot in the FA Cup final after a dominant display at Wembley and also thanks to a second-half hat trick from
Algerian star Riyad Mahrez.

Speaking after the game, Pep Guardiola said;

“They (United) don’t have to be scared. We are neighbors, and neighbors are always nice to each other. We are still far away from the treble,”he said.

Manchester United will hope to book another final under Erik Ten Hag but will face off against an informed Brighton team that is fighting for European qualification next season.

They will have to be at their best, especially after their disappointing exit in the Europa League against Sevilla.
