Trio Mio’s Verified Instagram Account Hacked
Trio Mio, Kenya’s celebrated artist has taken to Twitter to inform his fans about his hacked Instagram account.
In his press statement under Trouble Music Inc, the singer has told fans his trials with Instagram owners to recover his account.
The verified account which has over 438k followers, the Cheza Kama Wewe hitmaker has urged fans to ignore any request coming from the hacked account as it’s in the hands of scammers.
“I am writing this this message to inform you that my Instagram account has been compromised and is currently under the control of an unauthorized person” reads part of the statement.
Trio however has assured his fans to have reported the issue and also, advised fans not to share their personal information to the hacked account.
” Ignore any auspicious messages or requests from this account and do not share any personal information or send money to anyone claiming to be me” adds part of the statement.
Trio’s account hacking comes in a season when Blue Badge Twitter owners are losing them for failing to pay for the subscription fee.
Latest, Kenya’s deputy president Rigathi Gachagua lost his blue badge as CNN’s African correspondent Larry Madowo vowed not to pay for the subscription fee but rather lose the verification badge.
