Salt Prices Set To Increase
Kenyans used to constant and cheap prices of salt are yet to experience a shocker following Kensalt announcement.
In a statement released today by Kensalt General Manager Arpan Roy, salt is expected to increase on Saturday, April 15, by Ksh1,000 per tonne.
The company attribute the rise to continuous rise in the cost of production adding that the increase will ensure stable supply of the commodity.
“This price increase was necessary in order to continue supplying you with salt without fail,” Roy said.
