Woman Allegedly Kills Husband Using Saucepan
Police in Arua City have in custody a woman accused of murdering her husband in cold blood after a misunderstanding.
The suspect identified as Asianzu Mary Racheal is said to have killed her husband Mudua Rogers, 35, a loan officer employed by Dot Com Investments Uganda in the night of 10th April, 2023. According to the police report, the couple was having fun at carnivore Pub in Ediofe trading Center, the day before and retired to their home in the wee hours of the night.
“It is alleged that on Sunday at around 2:00 AM, the deceased developed a misunderstanding with his wife after returning home from an outing on Easter Sunday,” West Nile region Police spokesperson Angucia Josephine revealed.
It is revealed that the suspect hit husband with a saucepan in the waist area, rendering him unconscious. After seeing her husband unconscious, Asianzu rushed him to Arua Regional Referral hospital where he died on arrival.
“When he was hit, he fell unconscious and it was the very wife who rushed him to Arua hospital for treatment where he was pronounced dead,” Angucia stated.
