Man Imprisoned For Frightening 1,100 Chicken To Death
Chinese court on Tuesday sentenced a man surnamed Gu to six months of imprisonment, one year probation and a fine, Ksh 58, 250 after killing neighbour’s 1,100 chicken.
According to China Daily news outlet, the feud started in April 2022 when Gu entered Zhong’s farm and cut down several trees and eloped with them without telling the owner ( Zhong).
When Zhong’s wife realised of Gu’s uninformed intrude into their farm and cutting trees, she went to Gu’s home and picked up the trees to her home.
This caused intense anger to Gu avenging one night by intruding into Zhong’s chicken residence with flashlight and splashed the light, that left 640 chicken dead after the fright.
Following the incident, Zhong was caught and reported to People’s Court, Hengyang County where he was fined Ksh 58, 250.
The fine caused more fuss to Gu where he came back, planned and intruded Zhong’s chicken premise afresh with a flashlight and this time killing 460 chicken more.
On Tuesday, People’s Court sentenced Gu to six months imprisonment and one year of probation for willingly destroying one’s property.
