Man Calls Safaricom To “Save” His One Day Old Marriage
Kenya has been a home of comedy and wonders. Its citizens have invented various ways to create light moments even during tough times making it easy to free one from stress and tension.
In fact, in my view, a Kenyan Citizen only needs a smartphone and data bundles to kick off stress and for content creators to spread happiness.
In an unexpected call, a TikTok user identified as Mayudah called Safaricom to “save” his one day old marriage.
He hilariously first instructed Judy,the customer care assistant who picked his call to use Kiswahili so that Tanzanians can get the message.
“Mimi naitwa Mayuda na nimeo jana.Sasa nilikuwa nataka tufanye marekebisho kiasi ndio ndoa yangu isivunjike. Kuna ile message mnanitumia kila wakati mnaniita dear. Nilikuwa naomba mniaddress kama Mr. Mayuda Kwa sababu wakati mnaniita Mayuda bibi yangu analeta shida.”
“Mnaweza niita Mr. Mayuda Kwa sababu anaona ni kama namplay. Mtamwelezy si eti mimi nadate huko Safaricom”
Judy explained to him that it is a computerised system which cannot be changed urging him together with wife to visit their Meru shop to get an explanation.
“Unaweza kuja na yeye Meru tumwelezee kwa duka yetu”
Safaricom PLC both on social media pages especially Facebook has got customer care employees engaged in dealing with various comedy calls from clients and reports on different issues.
