Powerful Person Behind Raila-Ruto Talks
President William Ruto and Opposition Chief Raila Odinga has for the First time since August 2022 General Elections indicated a cease fire. This comes after President William Ruto agreed to talks based on the rule of law and Constitution.
Taking to his Twitter account, renowned Political Analyst Mutahi Ngunyi issued a congratulatory message to both the two leaders for putting their differences aside and agreeing to talk.
Ngunyi further raised claims that Retired President Uhuru Kenyatta was behind the deal having supported Raila Odinga’s quest for Presidency journey.
“BRAVO President William Ruto. What you did TODAY by CLIMBING DOWN was statesmanship. Babaman RESPONDED by climbing down too. Whatever you do HEREAFTER, Keep Gachagua out of it. And I believe Uhuru Kenyatta BROKERED this DEAL,” wrote Ngunyi.
However he asked President William Ruto to Keep away his Deputy out of the talks.
