All Set For Much Hyped ”Afande Derby” Showdown
The hunt for glory resumes in the Mozzart Bet Cup round of 16 this weekend.
On Saturday, the much hyped Afande Derby, Pitting kenya Police and Ulinzi stars will go down when the face it out in the elimination stage. The two will be meeting for the first time this season.
In their last encounter, the two teams from the discipline unit settle for a draw but this being a knockout stage, one must go home.
Ulinzi Captain James Saruni they are well prepared to face their colleagues whom the respect.
“I have to warn our opponents; they are our brothers but it will not be easy for them. We are ready for this big game.”
Kenya Police FC Coach Francis Baraza, says they expect a tough game but they are focused on being the last team standing.
“It’s going to be a good game. We know that one team must go home and our focus is on making sure we are the ones left in the competition.”
The game will also act as the inaugural match to take place at the newly built police stadium in south C Nairobi.
