Man Beheads Fellow Man For Sleeping With His Wife.

Police in Mbale have arrested a man for allegedly beheading a fellow man’s head over accusations that he was having extra marital affairs with his wife.
The accused identified as Mayep Ronald is a resident of Sironko District and according to the residents who were at the scene; he attacked the deceased identified as Wanzala David from the bar where he had gone to have a good time with his friends.
According to eyewitnesses, Ronald, who was armed with a sharp machete, swung it and cut off Wanazala’s head. After the incident, locals who were in fear ran for their lives, giving Mayep the chance to escape and go into hiding.
When police were notified about the gruesome murder, the officers from Mbale Police with the help of those from Sironko commenced the search for the killer. He was arrested in hiding in Sironko yesterday and taken into custody.
Wanzala’s head was completely detached from the torso and was only stitched back on at Mbale referral Hospital where it had been brought for postmortem
In his defense, Mayep has stated that he tried warning Wanzala to leave his wife alone but his warnings fell on deaf ears. By the time of his murder, the residents of Bumasakye Village where the crime took place had witnessed on numerous occasions Wanzala visiting Mayep’s home in his absence and messing with his wife.
