Woman Steals Baby To Please Lover
Kampala Metropolitan Police have arrested a 22 year old woman accused of stealing someone else’s baby.
According to the police report, the suspect Mbabazi Shakila was in a romantic relationship with a man, whose name has been withheld but unfortunately suffered a miscarriage. To save her relationship she traveled to a certain village in Ntungamo District where she stole a baby on the 18th March from one Nsamba Quraish and brought it to Kampala.
Police spokesperson SCP Fred Enanga confirmed that Mbabazi was arrested last week in Kisenyi Division, Kampala and transferred back to Ntungamo where she was arraigned before court.
“We managed to examine the two months old baby girl and handed her over to her parents.” Enanga confirmed.
