Danny Miles, Man Who Requested Help From Safaricom Succumbs To Cancer


Danny Miles real name Maurice Ochieng on Tuesday evening succumbed to cancer stage four at St. Monicah Kisumu.

 

On 19th January 2023, Danny Miles requested help from Safaricom, Kenya’s telecommunications company to come for his rescue over his daughter in case he would have gone or get support fully till he recovers.

 

However, on Tuesday evening, his medical aider, Divinar Ogari posted a heartrending shock about the death of the young passionate and hopeful Muhoroni man on Facebook.

 

Miles, you can’t disappoint us like this noo… Hard to type RIP. Miles our baby boy, I will miss talking to you” Divinar the Swahili tutor condoled.

 

When Miles sent his emotional message to Safaricom, Kenyans on Facebook felt sympathetic where one Swahili tutor Divinar Ogari alias Divinar Swahili Teacher came out for his help with other Kenyans in contribution.

 

According to Miles’s text to Safaricom, he was diagnosed with Cancer, soft tissue sarcoma in March 2021 which later, let to his left arm amputated.

 

It’s eating me up for sure. Day by day I am feeling it. I had been saving so that I take my small family to a vacation but I have been drained. I can’t.

 

My daughter Britney Dova is still young. She has not started school. I was planning but I am sorry. I have failed as a dad.

 

I am appealing to you just help my daughter once I am gone because I can feel it” reads part of Miles’s message to Safaricom.

 

Before his death, Danny had been trying to respond to medication at Muhoroni Sub County Hospital but on Sunday evening at 9PM, pain overpowered him and got re-admitted.

 

I was attacked again and I really suffocated. Whatever happens, I belong to God” Miles posted on his Facebook page on Sunday.

 

While at the hospital in Muhoroni, his aider requested for support over blood transfusion but unluckily, Miles succumbed to cancer on Tuesday evening as confirmed by Divinar Ogari.

 

On Wednesday morning, his wife Florence Akoth has taken to social media to emotionally appreciate those who supported the family during their hard time to ensure Miles health is restored but unluckily, the efforts bore no fruits.

 

Divinar Swahili Teacher on her side has requested Kenyans to tag a businessman Simon Kabu and Safaricom to come and help Miles’ dreams upon his daughter come through.
