Raila “Curses” Police Officers
The planned Azimio anti-government protest yesterday went down as planned with Azimio leaders lamenting the excessive force used by police in dealing with protestors.
The police lobbed teargas at protesters while others used live bulllets when they ran out of tear gas and claim to be overpowered by protesters.
So far, a student from Maseno University has been confirmed dead with another nursing serious injury after sustaining a gunshot on the elbow.
Another person was shot at Toi Market in Nairobi as a vehicle forming part of Raila’s Motorcade was also allegedly fired at as reported by Azimio team.
Following these and other incidents, Azimio leader Raila Odinga has spelt a “curse” on the officers who used excessive force harming protestors.
“Tunataka kutoa laana kwa polisi ambao walitumia nguvu vibaya kuumiza wananchi jana,” the ODM leader said.
