Matiang’i To Face Two Charges
Former Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’i will face various charges including a conspiracy to commit a felony following claims of a raid at his Nairobi’s Karen home.
Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has prepared an elaborate charge sheet that shows Dr Matiangi will be charged with publishing false information with intent to cause panic in the country.
The former CS who was grilled at the DCI headquarters from 9.30am today was accompanied by a battery of 12 lawyers among them Rarieda MP and Senior Council Otiende Amolo, Nyamira County Senator Okongo Omogeni, Danston Omari and Steve Mogaka
Opposition leader Raila Odinga also arrived at the DCI offices but denied access to the DCI headquarters Entrance.
