Pastor Collapses, Dies On The Pulpit

Believers in Kisoga, Kalagala Mukono District are mourning the sudden death of their pastor who unfortunately collapsed while preaching on the pulpit.
Nalongo Immaculate Namutebi, the lead pastor at ‘Fishers Of Men church’ was in company of pastors from other churches who had come to fellowship at her church when the unfortunate event happened. Her sudden death has left her followers in shock as many of them testify about how healthy she was before the collapse.
“She was healthy and alive. So we were so shocked and left speechless. We do not know exactly what happened.” A believer said amidst tears.
Daughter to the deceased, Nanungi Rosette who was at work, recalls receiving a phone call from her sister confirming the sad news of their mother’s death.
“My mother is dead. I thought my sister was lying to me because she was not sick but it was true. As soon as I got the news, I moved as fast as I could.” A teary Nanungi revealed.
While speaking to journalists, the village chairman, Nsubuga Robert, noted that the deceased might have succumbed duecto heart problems based on their recent conversations. He also euologised her as an outstanding resident of the community for the past nine years she has been living in the village.
“The truth is, she was sickly. Like any other normal person, she has been suffering from high blood pressure and she has been telling me about it time and again” He said.
The body of the deceased was taken by the police to Mulago Referral Hospital for post mortem and further investigations.
