Blow To ODM As Court Nullifies Election Of Its Two MPs

Orange Democratic Party (ODM) has suffered a huge loss after court nullified the election of its two MPs.

Magarini PM Harrison Garama Kombe loses seat after court rulling.

The Malindi high court has nullified his election following massive irregularities pointed out.

Malindi High Court Judge Alfred Mabeya in his judgement said the poll was not free and fair thereby ruling that a by-election should be conducted following massive irregularities, voter stuffing reduction and interchanging of results in favour of the winner declared by IEBC.

The petition was presented by UDA candidate Stanley Kombe and PAA’S Michael Kingi challenging Garama’s win.

Kombe won by a very small margin followed by Kenga.

Kombe got 11,946 while Stanley got 11,925 followed by Michael with 7,921.

Lagdera MP Abdikadir Hussein has also lost his seat after court nullified his win.
