Manchester United Stars Shines In The FIFAPRO World XI Competitions

Manchester United central midfielder and Manchester United’s Women goalkeeper were on Monday awarded by FIFAPro World XI for 2022 best footballers in their positions of play.
In an Awarding Winning Ceremony held in Paris by FIFA Best Awards, Manchester United player Casemiro was mentioned as one starling soccer maestro in his central midfield position.

The Brazilian star joined Manchester United last summer for € 70 M from Real Madrid and has been a key player trusted by Erik Ten Hag.
While at Real Madrid, Casemiro won five champion league titles and his debut at Old Trafford, has come with the winning of Carabao Cup, ending the six year dry spell of Manchester United to win a trophy.
“My history has always been about winning since I was a kid. So, here it isn’t any different. I am here to help my teammates and Manchester United” Casemiro said upon joining Ten Hag’s boys.
On Sunday, Casemiro netted his first goal against Newcastle United at Wembley Stadium during Carabao Cup finals where Manchester United emerged winners.
” I left a great club, came to England and people wondered why. Moments like these are the answer. We all know this is only the beginning, but it doesn’t mean we can’t be happy.

“It’s one more trophy for me and I always welcome it, regardless of the competition. I celebrated a lot because I’m enjoying it here.” Casemiro told the media on Sunday after Manchester United’s victory against Newcastle United.
However, hours after celebrating the victory of Manchester United’s end of six year cup less, Casemiro got his first FIFAPro XI Award in history since he started soccer in his career.
Mary Earps, 29- year-old Manchester United’s Women goalkeeper after starting her soccer career at Leicester City, the star upon joining Manchester United’s Women club has been impactful and influential to the team.
Marc Skinner, coach for Manchester United Women club because of Mary’s prowess in the field, said he wouldn’t swap Mary for another goalkeeper in the world.

Mary was also awarded by FIFAPro as FIFA Best women goalkeeper. FIFAPro XI which is voted for by players, it saw two stars from Manchester bagging the awards.
Upon receiving her award, Earps thanked those who voted in for her and making her win the trophy
“I just want to say thank you so much to my loved ones who have picked me up off the kitchen floor to be here today.

“To all of my team-mates, without them this wouldn’t be possible. The coaching staff at Manchester United and England but particularly Ian Wilcock and Darren Ward.
In addition, Earps advised people to stay focused and believe in themselves in whatever they want in their lives.
“Anyone who has ever been in a dark place, just know that there’s light at the end of the tunnel. Keep going. You can achieve anything you put your mind to. Sometimes success looks like this, collecting trophies, sometimes it’s just waking up and putting one step in front of the other. There’s only one of the you in the world, and that’s more than good enough. Be unapologetic for yourself” Earps advised.
