Without knowing the person her message will land to, Brenda Rivera more than a decade ago sent a good message to a wrong number.
In her phone book, she had countable contacts and that blessed day, she felt to share bible verses to her friends without knowing a message will get her a husband.
When sending the motivational bible verses to friends in her phone book back in 2009, Brenda accidentally sent a message to Isaiah and got an immediate response.
“Amen” Isaiah Stearns replied to a text from a wrong number that had been sent to his phone.
He saved the new number and started chit-chatting the person on the other end till they became friends.
DATING
As friends, calls popped up and the two started having feelings for each other in their blind talks.
“It started as friendship but then I started to think maybe I like him? I was so excited about liking him.
“I did romanticize it and fantasize a lot but I was hesitant about how I was feeling.
“I think I was scared to open up my heart. I thought, what if he’s lying? What if he’s someone else? ” Brenda thought to herself.
In their blind phone dating, both Isaiah and Brenda came to realize they stayed less than 100 miles far apart from each at Ohio.
At one time, Isaiah suggested for a meet up with Brenda but Brenda failed to show up due to her fear for the unknown.
MEET – UP
However, Brenda’s mother Rossy was a resident of Ohio State, where Isaiah reside.
One evening, Rossy and Brenda’s sister decided to meet Isaiah for dinner.
Here, Brenda’s mother had opted to shy off all the fears her daughter had over meeting Isaiah.
“You’re going to marry this guy” Rossy told her daughter – Brenda after meeting Isaiah.
PROPOSAL AND MARRIAGE
After the mother assuring her daughter of who Isaiah is, Brenda was then proposed to by Isaiah on February, 2010 and got married in June, same year.

Reminiscing her journey of love that led to marriage, the 39-year-old Brenda say, at a time when she tell her story, some people think it’s a Hallmark movie.
“13 years ago I sent that text by accident never expecting him to keep my number and call me back. I am so glad he did.
“When other people hear about it, they’re always surprised. They think we should be in a Hallmark movie.
“But I’ve always felt our story was special. It’s so nice to see it inspiring other people to really find love” Brenda says.
MARRIAGE LIFE
Isaiah, 42 an engineer based in Ohio, has been married to a Mexican damsel Brenda for 13 years and say, the journey has been good and full of joy.
“I had just bought a phone some 30 minutes ago when I saw a text from a new number.
“After reading it, I felt something special. My emotions changed and Chemistry took it’s part.
“It’s just God’s plan to have met my joyous, loving and motivational wife. In our house, she’s our comedian and daily laughter.
“Together, we’ve been blessed with six beautiful and handsome children. Daily when I look at Brenda, I feel to rekindle our first meet up and hug her tightly” narrates Isaiah.
The couple took their marriage story to TikTok and has amassed huge followers. To them, their move to share their love journey is to motivate those searching for love but not yet found their soulmates.
