Eric Omondi Leads A Group Of Men In Protesting High Cost Of Living.
Controversial Kenyan Comedian and self-declared President of Comedy Eric Omondi is once again on the news headline after visiting the parliament premises protesting the high cost of living.
Leading a group of bare-chest men and with chains on his shoulder, the comedian led the peaceful demonstration chanting songs of “bado mapambano” while reportedly demanding an audience with speaker Moses Wetangula.
Placards demonstrating the high cost of living were among the tools used by the comedian.
“Mafuta juu, stima juu, tax juu,” read the writings on the placards
The comedian’s organised demonstration comes at a time when Kenyans are fighting to live and expect tougher times as maize flour prices are expected to rise this week.
