Jubilee Party Coup? Jeremiah Kioni Dismisses His Ouster,
Embattled Jubilee party Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni has dismissed his removal from the office by a section of the party.
Kioni termed the move by Kanini Kega led group as the most atrocious coup ever witnessed in a political party saying it’s a mission in futility.
In a rebuttal to the Nakuru Resolution by National Executive Committee (NEC) of ousting him as the SG, Kioni has commenced disciplinary action against Hon. Kanini Kega, Hon. Sabina Chege , Hon. Fatuma Dullo and Hon. Adan Keynan. The same has been forwarded to the JP Disciplinary Committee for action.

Kioni who has emerged as a lonely figure in the once powerful ruling party was ousted by a National Executive Committee (NEC) comprising of lawmakers who switched allegiance to President William Ruto.
Kioni has also asked members to treat the purported NEC resolutions circulated on Friday as fake, asserting that is the substantive in office.
“I am here as the Secretary of Jubilee, Jubilee will be in Azimio till the end. President Uhuru Kenyatta will be in Jubilee till the end. Those who went to Statehouse to get a pay so as to disrupt the party please go away and leave us,” Kioni added.
In the said, Nakuru NEC EALA MP Kanini Kega was appointed as Acting Secretary General co-opted four new members into the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) in a move expected to further weaken the Kioni faction.
