I Don’t Whistle In Bed, Priscilla Waimani
Kenyan content creator and gospel musician Priscilla Waimani has rose to limelight for her unique content of whistling.
The businesswoman based in Laikipia County while speaking on her content creation journey in a sit down with journalists has said comedy runs through their family.
The mother of three who is currently Kenya’s loved and likable TikToker, is a member of Music Copyright of Kenya and also a church goer.
Priscilla Waimani says, she just desired to do something great and unique that will be sensational and leave people smiling.
Tracing her content creation journey, she says whistling is in her blood but came to limelight when she attended a dowry negotiation ceremony that someone recorded her whistling.
“I remember I had attended a dowry negotiation ceremony and while at that ceremony, my joy led me into whistling without knowing someone was recording me.
“After a while, I bumped on a video trending on social media which left me in awe. I saw myself whistling and my cousin Shiro told me to start it as a content.
“She created for me a TikTok account where I record myself whistling with a hashtag, Priscilla Waimani Ndani ya … “ she says.
Priscilla Waimani who her real name is Priscilla Gakuru, is a sensational nightingales who whistles in supermarkets, petrol stations even in mortuary apart from hospitals.
As a sensational TikToker and a businesswoman known in Lakipia and Baringo County markets, some social media followers have been alleging she must have been a taut because of her whistling nature.
But to disclose the reality, Waimani says she started whistling at a young age and usually whistle even in church.
“I started whistling at a young age. I have not started today. Even in some of my songs, we have places I have whistled. I whistle even in church” Waimani narrates.
Moreover, Waimani desires to tour Mombasa and Nairobi but in all, do some whistling content in Nairobi with Governor Johnson Sakaja.

“I can be happy while whistling in State House” Waimani tells journalists.
To those alleging that she must be under the influence of drugs, single and mentally ill, she says that she’s married and normal.
“My content ain’t under the influence of drugs. I am a family mother of three, a wife and normal in nature. It’s just that comedy runs in my blood.
“My husband and children are my great supporters and always stand by my side when producing my content “ Ms Gakuru replies.
Wittingly, hence Kenya is a funny country, maybe one will soon ask her if she can whistle in toilet and be like, ” swwwwwwwwwiiiiw, Priscilla Waimani ndani ya choo”.
In response to whether she whistle while in bed, Priscilla say while at home, she usually act as a different person and never whistle while in bed.
“I am a different person in my house. I do not whistle in bed” she replies.
As a gospel musician, she hopes to produce songs with Everlyne Wanjiru and Mercy Masika.
