IEBC Amendment Bill Signed Into Law
President William Ruto has signed into law the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Amendment Bill.
The Signing now means that the Allocation of Parliamentary Service Commission in the composition of the Selection Panel that oversees the filling of the vacant positions of IEBC Will Reduce to two out of the Seven members of the Panel.
The panel will now consist of one member each drawn from the Public Service Commission, Political Parties Liaison Committee and the Law Society of Kenya while The parliamentary Service Commission and Inter-Religious Council of Kenya will Each have Two members.
