Obinna Addresses Claims of Job Offer from Riggy G after Recent Interview
Oga Obinna(L) said Riggy G(R) didn't offer him a job/ courtesy.
YouTuber Oga Obinna has dismissed claims that former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua (Riggy G) offered him a job after their recent interview on Obinna Show Live.
Speaking to digital journalists over the weekend at Comedian YY’s event, Obinna said he wasn’t offered a job. However, he wished to MC the launch of the Democracy for the Citizens Party on June 3rd, 2025, at Kasarani Stadium.
“They say Gachagua gave me something? What kind of job are you talking about? There’s nothing of the sort,” Obinna stated.

Obinna added that he was in contact with Riggy G’s team to be offered a paying gig ahead of the anticipated launch of the DCP Party.
“I am pitching to MC the party’s launch. I am in contact with Gachagua’s people, not Gachagua. I told them I am an MC and requested to be paid for the party’s launch.” He clarified.
He also explained that he wasn’t supporting the current government or the opposition. He said his initiative to interview Riggy G is a calling as a journalist, but not related to his perspective.

“Obinna is not supporting the government, either supporting the opposition. I am just doing the lord’s work, and as I said before, there is no place where you will ever see me disrespecting the President, opposition leaders, or any human being because that is not what I stand for. I stand for kindness.” He added.
