Bien Hails Darassa For Producing Good Music
Bien said Darassa is among the best rappers he listens to in East Africa/ courtesy.
Bien Aime Baraza has hailed Tanzania rapper Darassa for producing music. Speaking to Tanzanian journalists ahead of Darassa’s big show on Friday, the celebrated artist said Darassa’s music is full of content.
Bien explained that Darassa is not only blessed with songwriting skills but also with vocals. The Kenyan singer also revealed that the singer is supportive.
“Darasa is a great artiste. Among the many artists that I listen to in East Africa, Darasa is a top artist, and I’ve loved his music for a long time. Even in Kenya, his music is listened to by many. Darassa ni mdeadly. Lyricist, vocalist and songwriting, Darassa is gifted, raps nicely, and his music is so good.” Bien revealed.

The former Sauti Sol band member also recounted that the last time he performed at Warehouse in Tanzania, Darassa sat with him the whole night until he performed and left.
However, ahead of the big show on Friday, which Darassa would also be performing live, some of the songs composed in the Take Away The Pain album, Bien disclosed that the rapper wanted to pay him to attend and perform, but he declined the offer and accepted to perform for free.
“Alifanya, one of the best album East Africa has ever listened to, and I’m so happy to be part of the album. When he called me to perform, he said he would pay me $ 2M, but I told him I can’t charge him since he is my brother.

“Last time I performed here in Tanzania, he stayed with me the whole night until I went to the stage at 6 AM to perform.” Bien hailed.
