Tumi Lauds Her Parents Nameless and Wahu for Protecting Her Privacy

Tumi Mathenge, daughter to Wahu and Nameless, lauded her parents for good parenting in the digital era. The Gen Z girl said they always protect her privacy from the public limelight.

Tumi revealed that she loves how her parents keep her life private/ courtesy.

In an interview with Buzzroom Kenya, Tumi said that when she becomes a parent, she will emulate her parents’ brilliance, wisdom, and maturity in raising her children.

 

Tumi revealed that Wahu and Nameless share a part of their private lives with social media users but ensure they are protected from trolls.

She also lauded that in their conversations, they engage with decorum without offending or hurting after the conversation.

 

My parents are very careful with what they share with the media and keep our lives kind of private, but they share enough to engage people and interact with us.

 

“They have protected my privacy since not too much or too little is shown. Their approach to parenting is something I will adopt when I start my family. They are very open, and we share very candid discussions.” Tumi lauded legendary singers Wahu and Nameless.

Further, she shared that after school, she’ll embark on her journey of advocating for mental health issues and helping women struggling with poverty in accessing sanitary towels.

 

Through her Girl to Girl Kenya organisation, she emphasized that she would be walking around Kenya to empower girls.

 

The Gen Z girl also revealed that she wasn’t sure about her career, but she would figure it out after High School. “I’m not 100% sure what I’d do after High School. I’m still figuring out what would make sense for me and my personality.”
