Anthony Ndiema Shares Hillarious Experience Working With Jalas
Anthony Ndiema said he had a rough time working with Jalas before they became friends/courtesy.
Media personality Anthony Ndiema has shared his memorable experience working with Phelix Odiwuor also known as Jalas.
The gospel presenter shared on the Queen’s Podcast that in his leadership positions and as a journalist, he encountered challenges with workmates he led with crazy behaviour.
Ndiema stated that among the workmates who gave him a tough time in his leadership position was Jalas before they became friends.

The gospel presenter revealed that at one time, Jalas approached him with a White Range Rover and told him that he doesn’t work on public holidays and left for a party in Naivasha.
“Aliniambia sikiza, mimi huwa sifanyi kazi on public holidays. Ninataka ujue. Huwa sifanyi kazi during public holidays lakini siku zingine nitafanya kazi na ikifika masaa yangu ya kutoka nitaenda. Story ya sijui uniweke hapa 8 hours mimi sijui. Aniambia hivyo na akaenda.” Ndiema shared hilariously.
“Ile siku alikuwa anaenda na Range Rover, nilikuwa na Toyota 110 na nilipotoka, tulikutana Mombasa Road yupo karibu nami japo juu. Alifungua dirisha na akaniambia ala! ‘so ati wewe ni boss wangu? Aje? Hata ninaweza nikakunulia mafuta ya wiki mzima. ‘ Hicho kitu kilini-hit lakini nikajitia moyo.” He added with a smile.

The former Hope Media journalist stated the encounter was a learning process and he discovered many ways of dealing with staff with different personalities.
“You bring people because of value. The reason why I bring you is value; both on air and off air. Mzee Jalas alikuja because of on air. He’s such a great entertainer. So, you utilize that. Anything beyond that is an addition.” He explained.
