Celebrated Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi has gifted a new house to Faith Kathambi, the woman from Kisii County who was recently assaulted by her neighbours over allegations of stealing a packet of wheat flour.
Omondi through his initiative Team Sisi Kwa Sisi rallied Kenyans who contributed to support Kathambi. He purchased a plot of land and constructed a new house for her.
Taking to Instagram, the comedian who was accompanied by Kathambi and her child shared that the house was complete and posted a video of it.

“God wins. Team Sisi Kwa Sisi you are slowly but surely making history. Changing lives and impacting community. May God abundantly bless those that give. Faith is not only a land owner but also a home owner. Mungu awabariki,” he captioned the video.
The comedian collaborated with well-wishers to furnish the new house. Kate Migwi donated a set of sofas and a bed to help Kathambi settle into her new home.
He also launched a fundraising campaign to help Kathambi achieve financial independence. He urged Kenyans to contribute to help her start a business.
