Amber Ray Reveals Why She Doesn’t Go To Church
Kenyan socialite Faith Makau, popularly known as Amber Ray has openly shared her reasons for not attending church stating that she finds it filled with pretence.
Amber Ray affirmed her deep faith in God emphasizing that His presence is everywhere and she prays frequently. She also urged people to learn how to pray for themselves.
In a recent interview, she discussed her spiritual journey and deep connection with God explaining why she chooses not to go to church.

“Siendangi church coz I feel there is so much pretence when it comes to religion. For me I know the Bible, it says wherever you are God is there. My connection with God is very deep, I pray a lot,” she stated.
When asked about the last time she attended a church service she stated that she could not remember and firmly stood by her reasons.
“It’s been years, I don’t go to church hata siwezi kumbuka. Sio watu wote but I feel watu wanajificha kwa kanisa sana. Yaani afadhali mimi naonekana kwa club everyday kuliko watu wenye wanashinda kwa makanisa. They are so judgemental especially to people like us. God anaskiza as long as your heart is genuine,” Amber said.
