Pastor Ezekiel Odero of New Life Prayer Centre and Church revealed he doesn’t have personal security. The televangelist said he was called by God to serve the faithful.
In his recent sermon, Pastor Ezekiel said he was anointed by God to serve people. He explained that he came from a humble background and that he adores a simple lifestyle.

“Utanizuia kuona Hawa watu na nimepewa mafuta kwa ajili yao? Nikichoka nitakwambia baba, mimi nimechoka siwezi nikakuhudumia,” Pastor Ezekiel explained.
Pastor Ezekiel, a renowned televangelist also revealed that the only time he may request combat security is when attending a bigger crusade, and the congregants make it hard for him to pass, enter the stage, or get off the stage.
“Hakuna siku utaniona na convoy ya security. Labda kama vile nilienda Nairobi na nilifungiwa barabara ikabidi nitafute watu wanasaidie.” Pastor Ezekiel added.

Further, the televangelist explained that he doesn’t allow pride to lead him but rather, he loves living a simple lifestyle and interacting with people from all classes.
“Kwa nini niitishe security sitaki kukuona? Na je, kesho Nikishuka nitakuwa wa nani? Wa heshimu waliochini maana utakapoteremka, utaanguka kwa kishindo na na ukiwapenda, watanyoosha mkono na kukupokea usije ukaumia,” he advised.
