Tiwa Savage: I’ve Never Left a Man For Cheating On Me
Tiwa Savage states that what makes her break with her lovers are lies, drugs and disrespect/ courtesy.
Tiwa Savage, a Nigerian songbird and songwriter has said cheating is not why she breaks with lovers. In a chit-chat with Receipts Podcast, the singer said she breaks with lovers over different reasons.
Tiwa Savage shared that she had been cheated on many times and forgave. However, she admitted that cheating is not a hurdle or threat to her relationship.
“I’ve been cheated on before. I found out and forgave every time,” Tiwa shared. “Every man I’ve ever been with has cheated, and I’ve never left them because of it. I’ve left for other reasons, but not because they cheated. Cheating is not my hill.” Tiwa revealed.

Tiwa Savage argued that although cheating on men is a common habit, what she finds hard to cope with is the disrespect that she struggles to overcome after being cheated on.
“The disrespect of it is why I could leave but the actual act of it? I’ve never left a man cause of it. I’ve left for so many other reasons like drug abuse or emotional abuse or being emotionally abused, being ghosted, stealing, and financial things. “ she explained.
Tiwa added some may argue that infidelity shouldn’t be compromised but in her view, it’s historical and can be traced from the Bible.
“I know you say it’s bad that we’ve gotten to a point where cheating isn’t a deal-breaker. But I feel like we’ve always been here even back in the day, even going back to the Bible and history.” She stated.
