Kenyan Journalists held a fun-filled Scribes End of Year Party at The LB Lounge in Ngong’.

The event that took place on Saturday December 7, 2024 brought together journalists and communication professionals to reflect on the year, savor delicious nyama choma and enjoy lively music.

Suleiman Mbatiah, a Nakuru-based photographer and journalist, was honored as the Scribe of the Year 2024 for his remarkable resilience in adopting digital technology and carving out a niche in the digital landscape.

Scribes Kenya President Roncliffe Odit also recognized the achievements of various journalists who have embarked on their own digital journeys. The evening was filled with music and plenty of nyama choma, as attendees danced their hearts out.

Among Journalists present at the Party were Kameme TV host Agnes Nonsizi, Radio 47’s Billy Miya,  Phylis Mwatee, Sarafina Robi, K24’s Busara Naaman, and Zakheem Rajan, a senior communications officer from the Judiciary, along with many other esteemed journalists and communication professionals.
