NTV anchor Frida Mwaka has shed light on her relationship with Lofty Matambo. In an exclusive with Brian Obuya, Frida stated that Matambo is her boss, colleague and mentor.
Frida Mwaka said she’s not dating Lofty Matambo. Fridah stated that they are twins and sisters and brothers don’t date.
However, Frida said she has never shared her family with the public and loves keeping it private despite being in the media limelight.

In a separate interview on Radio 47 in 2023, Lofty Matambo denied dating Frida Mwaka. The NTV Swahili anchor said she’s his mentee, friend and colleague.
In his statement, they have families and nothing bad exists between them apart from work. Describing their rapport, he said their work combined makes them superb in the media industry.
