Bungoma Comedian Choffuri Rubbishes Claims Of Paying Goons Ksh. 35K To Disrupt Obinna’s Kitale Show
Choffuri added that after he bought tickets for his fans and dancers in Kitale, he did not attend the event because Obinna and Dem Wa Facebook did not invite him/ collage.
Bungoma Comedian Choffuri has rubbished claims that he paid goons Ksh 35,000 to disrupt Oga Obinna’s Kitale Show over the weekend.
In an exclusive with one YouTuber from Bungoma, Choffuri whose real name is Tinny Mutali stated that he never paid any local artiste or goons to disrupt Obinna’s show.According to Choffuri, he bought tickets for his fans based in Kitale to attend the show because they did not have money to pay for the event.

“I am a local artiste, and I have fans and audience in Kitale. In Kitale, nina kikosi cha dancers ambacho hakikuwa na pesa za kulipia event waangalie. Sasa, wale ndio nilitumia pesa kuwanunulia tickets,” he said.
“Mimi sikulipa mtu yeyote aende a-disrupt hiyo event. Chenye hao vijana waliamua kutumia pesa nilinunua tickets nazo it’s up to them. But the thing is, I bought the tickets waende pale wa-support the event,” he clarified.
Choffuri added that after he bought tickets for his fans and dancers in Kitale, he did not attend the event because Obinna and Dem Wa Facebook did not invite him.

“The reason sikuenda event is because I was never invited though I am a brand. I have been in the field for quite some time even though I am underrated by a section of people. So, I can’t just wake up niingie event bila kualikwa au kupigiwa simu. Siwezi,” he explained.
In addition, he stated that the local artists were angry because the leadership in Luhya Counties always belittled them in preference of those from other counties.
“We have bad leadership in our Counties to the extent that local artists are always underrated and never supported apart from those who come from other counties like Nairobi, ” he stated.
Last week, a section of local artists in Trans Nzoia County, Kitale; attempted to disrupt Obinna’s Event because they were not invited at the event. However, they solved the issue and allowed me to perform at the event.
