“Siwajui Kama Clout Chasers”: Eddie Butita On Comedian YY, Marya Okoth’s Breakup

Digital Content Director Eddie Butita has broken his silence on Comedian YY and Marya Okoth’s alleged breakup.
In an exclusive with digital journalists, Butita disclosed that although he doesn’t know YY and Marya as clout chasers, they might have broken up or are yet to part ways with each other.
“Kila mtu anajua jinsi anavyopelekana na mtu wake na ndoa namna ambavyo huwa twaiona kwa nje, wawili waliomo, ndio wanajua kilichosababisha wao kuachana na kuambia umma kwamba wameachana,” Butita stated.

However, Butita emphasized that YY and Marya Okoth are the ones who have the information on whether they have separated or are still in their known marriage.
“Pengine siku moja watatuambia one on one kwa sababu awali nilifikiria ni kiki lakini bado sipo sure na siwajui kama clout chasers,” he clarified.
Early this week, Marya Okoth took to her social media to announce that she had parted ways with her husband Comedian YY though in her post, she never stated the reason that resulted in a separation.

“We have saddened to let you know that Marya Okoth and YY Comedian will no longer be together due to unavoidable circumstances. Thank you for your love and support,” Marya’s statement read in part.
Since the alleged breakup, the two are yet to share the reality behind the reports but a section of social media users are of the view that the couple might be chasing clout to do something.
