Manzi Wa Kibera has said her late “estranged husband” was buried in her absentia on Wednesday, 1st May 2024 at Lang’ata Cemetry.

Taking to her social accounts, her manager revealed that the family of the late Mzee Kijana also known as Sammy Nzuki shied away from the media and buried their kin privately.

Although the contributed amount of money wasn’t enough according to the manager, it’s alleged the public deduced that the socialite swindled Mzee Kijana’s money at the time of dating.

“Manzi Wa Kibera hajawahi chukua pesa za mzee na hajawahi tumia mzee. Manzi wa Kibera na Mzee were not dating. It was an online content.” The manager said.

“Kwa contribution, watu hawakutoa pesa mob because walikuwa wanaamini Manzi Wa Kibera alikuwa anatumia mzee.” The manager added.

Following the private burial of the late 67-year-old man who died after some short illness, the manager added that they were permitted by the family to pay Mzee Kijana tribute at the graveyard in Lang’ata.

The socialite on her side has yet to make a statement on when she’s set to visit the grave of her estranged husband but has stood to the ground that she and the late Mzee were not in any relationship.

“I was not dating the late Mzee Nzuki. It was online content. NOT REAL” Manzi Wa Kibera insists.
