Struggles Of Fatherhood: Baha Reveals why He Gave Up Working Abroad
Baha appreciates fathers who strive to be in their children lives
Former Machachari actor Tyler Mbaya AKA Baha has revealed reasons as to why he gave up working abroad to focus on fatherhood.
In an exclusive interview with Miss Natalia, Baha emotionally talked about how he grew up for about 10 years without his father and that made him vow to be close to his child.
“My dad was always sorting out all things needed. He was a proper dad a proper father. I feel like being around your kid more you can get to be their friend. I don’t feel tulikua pulse na my dad,” Baha revealed.

The former actor who graced Kenyan screens for over 10 years said that he would do everything to be a present dad to Astra. He is focused on becoming her daughter’s friend more and makes things different for his daughter.
“Fatherhood is a rollercoaster…. Mimi nikipata mtoi wangu I knew the first thing that I will try is be present,”he added.
Baha appreciates fathers who strive to be in their children lives . He also talked about his life story and how he lost his mother at the age of 16 and was left with his dad to guide him.

On his career as an actor, Baha hinted that after acting for local shows he is now aiming for regional and international shows but not working abroad since he wants to be there for Astra. Baha is a father to Astra Nyambura, the child he had with his ex-girlfriend Georgina Njenga. The two broke up in July 2023 after having their baby together in 2022.
