Media personality Nana Owiti has been shocked by the realization that her children are poor masters of the Kiswahili language.
Taking to her Instagram page, Nana was filmed going through the Kiswahili exam her son Royal had done at school and discovered that the son failed the mastery of simple Kiswahili translations.
In the exam, one section required her Grade 1 son to fill the blank spaces with correct answers, but she discovered in the whole 5 questions, none of the questions her son made it to give the correct answer.

As seen by Mideyah Digital Media, her son was asked to give a Kiswahili name to a male parent but in utter shock, Nana’s son gave his answer as mother.
That made her ask her children: “Mzazi wa kiume ni nani? ” In their response, one of her sons admitted not knowing the answer and the other son replied as “mama”; an answer the daughter had given out.
Thinking it was over, she was hit by another shock of answers; and doubting facial expressions her children expressed when she checked on more questions from the exam paper.

“Mzazi wa kiume ni mama? You guys do your homework. You have to be serious. Wallahi mnajua hata siamini.” She said.
Following the advent of crazy answers in which King Kaka was also around, she went ahead and announced the teaching vacancy for a Kiswahili tutor.
“We need a Kiswahili Tutor ASAP. Parents, struggling much with Kiswahili Sanifu? Juzi I asked Gweth to write me an INSHA about LIKIZO yake. She wrote alienda Mahali kwa Wanyama Yatima. Ati alikuwa pahali pa hatari 😅😅😅Ah!” Nana Owiti said.
