Mombasa-based singer Nyota Ndogo has promised to take Stivo Simple Boy to school amidst illiteracy reports spread online.
Taking to her social handles, the singer said she had read many comments online alleging Stivo Simple Boy doesn’t know how to read and write.Following the viral reports which were first unveiled by Amapiano artiste Cartoon 47, the Mombasa-based singer has promised to take Simple Boy to school.

“Mimi nikipewa Simple Boy kwanza nampeleka shule angalau apate kaelimu kama kangu ajue kusoma kidogo nakuandika. Sitachangisha maana nitamsomesha kulingana na uwezo wangu mdogo but naamini itamsaidia.” Nyota Ndogo said.
She added that the reason she was set to take the Fresh Barida hitmaker to school was because she heard his managers are the ones who run the social media accounts due to illiteracy allegations.
“Why shule? Nimesoma comment nyingi watu wanasema hajui kusoma wala kuandika. Inamaama account zake bila yeye kujua kusoma nakuandika hatawai kujua kuziendesha na ni muhimumu ajue.” She added.

Nyota Ndogo went ahead and urged netizens to help her have access to Simple Boy because the previous numbers she had been given were for the managers.
Besides her sentiments, Cartoon 47 in an exclusive with Mideyah Digital Media said the reason Stivo faces co-current financial challenges was because of illiteracy and lack of a phone.
“Stivo hana simu manager ana simu. Ana simu ya button na huzimazima. Stivo hajui kuandika, kublock mtu hajui. Anajua tu kuimba.” Cartoon 47 said.

He added that the singer doesn’t have access to his social accounts because the previous manager before Chingi eloped with them over unpaid duels.
“Stivo ana uwezo wa kujimudu na kujisimamia lakini hana access ya account zake zote. Hana chochote. Anatumiwa kama sanamu.” Cartoon 47 added.
The celebrated rapper’s financial struggle allegations surfaced online last week in which it was reported that he was evicted from his rental house in Buruburu and relocated to Kibera where he currently resides with one of his family members.
