Jackie Matubia Reveals the Late Charles Ouda Scripted Toxic’s 3 Episodes
Celebrated Kenyan Actress Jackie Matubia has revealed that the late actor Charles Ouda, Charlie scripted the first 3 episodes of her upcoming Web series dubbed, Toxic.
Matubia stated that Charlie was part of the Project and he had assured her of his full support in making Toxic a success before he died on the 3rd of February 2024.
Matubia disclosed in an interview with Youtuber Mungai Eve said that Charlie had sent the third script of the episode and even met for lunch the same day he died on a Saturday.

“He (Charlie) wrote the first three episodes of TOXIC, he sent the third episode the day he died.That hit me because I was like what am I supposed to do now that he is not here? He told me to push and that he would write another show once am done with this TOXIC.
It took me time to open the third episode of Toxic. He sent it in the Morning, we met during lunchtime, He died that night. On Sunday he was to send me four, and on Monday he was to send me episode 5,” she said.
The actress admitted that it was not easy and they had to look for another script writer because she decided not to let the dream of Toxic die after his burial.

She said that Charlie comforted her when she was going through her break up at a time when she started acting ‘Salem’ with him.
