A Kenyan police warden has elated netizens online as he happily welcomed them to the prison informing them that it belonged to them. With a smile on his face, he gave the unexpected announcement leaving many netizens in laughter.

The courageous warden did not hesitate to inform Kenyans that they are the owners of the prison and they should feel welcomed to the prisons anytime as it was created for them.

In a video shared on Instagram the warden was seen excitedly calling upon them with his special message of who owned the prisons. He mentioned that the prisons did not belong to the prison service only but also belonged to Kenyans.

Yangu ni kusema karibuni Kenya Prison, prison ni yenu si ya prison service pekee yake. Imejengwa kwa sababu ya wananchi wakenya, imejengwa kwa niaba ya wananchi na binadamu, ”he stated.

His message elicited mixed reactions among Kenyans who took to the comment section to give their opinion on the warden’s ‘hospitality’ to the prisons. Many netizens seemed to be thrilled by the wardens invitation accompanying their comments with laugh emojis.
