Jowie Irungu Releases New Worship Song Ahead Of Sentencing

No matter the storms of life just trust in God He is the only hope, the song states

Jowie Irungu’s sentencing was to take place on 8th of March but it was postponed to date 13th of March by Lady Justice Grace Nzioka. Justice Nzioka was forced to make the ruling after she established that crucial documents that could help the court reach it’d final decision in the case were filed late.

Last month, Jowie was found guilty of the murder of business woman Monicah Kimani.

Shortly after the postponement Jowie released a newsong dubbed “I Believe” in his Youtube Channel. The song ‘I Believe’ quotes the King James Version bible from the book of Psalm 56:3, which states “What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.”

He talks of many dark days and nights hence taking time to advise his fans.

No matter the storms of life just trust in God He is the only hope. Just believe. May this song minister to all of us. We are in different storms of life but one thing I know for sure, We shall overcome some day.”

Last month Jowie released his “Nakuabudu” song after he was found guilty of murder.

Jowie’s music career began in 2020 with “Nishikilie” a song he released after he was given bail by the court after spending time at the Kamiti Maximum Prison.

He has other gospel songs which are Babie, Eyaah and Juu .
