Arsenal legendary striker and former club captain Thierry Henry believes his former team could win Premier League’s silverware this season despite being placed in the third position with 61 points just one and two points behind Manchester City and Liverpool respectively.

The Gunners missed the Premier League triumph to Manchester City in the last quarter of the season finishing in the second position with a total of 81 points. As they look to win the Premier League title for the first time in 20 years, the Frenchman has highlighted 6 games that the Gunners must win for them to be crowned EPL champions.

6. Wolves

The reason behind Henry Wolves game as a tough and must win game for the Gunners is yet unclear as going by the stats, Arsenal have won all the last four matches against wolves with 2-1 margins in three games and a 5-0 victory in the last match of 2022/23 season. Wolves will be hosting the Gunners on April 20th in match week 34 and it will be a crucial fixture for Arsenal in Premier League title race.

5.Brighton Albion

Roberto De Zerbi’s side will be hosting the Gunners at AMEX stadium on 6th April for match week 32 in a crucial match for Arteta side. The Seagulls did not perform the way many fans expected from them this season but on their good day, Brighton can cause damage to any side and thus Henry warned Arsenal of this match.

4. Tottenham Hotspur

This North London derby is always a tough game for both sides and with Arsenal looking to win the Premier League title while Spurs are trying to book their Champions League spot this season after missing to qualify for any European competition last season. Thierry Henry has sent a stun warning to Arsenal for this specific derby which will be played on April 27 with Tottenham Hotspur being the hosts.

3. Chelsea

This fixture was supposed to be played on 17th March, but it was postponed as Chelsea will be playing FA Cup quarter Final against Leicester City that weekend. Though the fixture is yet to be rescheduled but Thierry Henry has listed the match as a must win game for the Gunners after a disappointing 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge in the first leg. The Blues might be not in the best shape this season, but we have seen them turned up big against the big ‘six’ clubs.

2. Manchester United

The Gunners won their first leg of this fixture at Emirates as they handed Erik ten Hag side 3-1 defeat on 3rd September last year. Goals from Captain Martin Odegard and two last minutes goals from Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus gave the Gunners three important points. Arsenal will be travelling to Old Trafford on 11th May for the second leg, with the Gunners experiencing tough time when they play at the stadium with their last win at Old Trafford was 1-0 victory on 1st November 2020. Henry has highlighted the match as one of the toughest remaining for the Gunners and it is a must win for them despite their record at the stadium.

1. Manchester City

The Gunners will be travelling Etihad Stadium on 31st March to face the Cityzens. Mikel Arteta side won the first leg with a late winner goal from Brazilian winger Gabriel Martinelli. A 4-1 defeat at the Etihad last season was critical in their title contention collapse, and they must avoid a repeat of the same when they visit the Manchester based club.
