Eric Omondi has opened up on allegations that he joined the Illuminati for fame and wealth.

The comedian during an exclusive interview with Trudy Kitui, denied being a cult member. According to him, he has made it in life by working hard and learning the art of investment.

Omondi added that the stories about him joining the Illuminati a cult community started the times he was working at Churchill Show but they gave him a hard time telling the truth about his source of wealth.

When still at Churchill Show, the comedian revealed that the viral stories about the Illuminati made one fan lure him with Ksh 50,000 to help him join the cult to amass wealth but he turned out swindling the money without remorse.

Nimesikia tangu enzi za Churchill kama uko high school when a fan approached me to seek my help to join the cult. He was like; ‘Bro life imekuwa ngumu na usijam bro. Nisaidie niingie hii kitu yenu ya Illuminati.’ ” He revealed.

When the fan requested help, he tried to avoid him but his consistency made him take another route by posing for an offer. He alleged that he told the fan to get him a white goat and Ksh 50,000.

To the efforts of the devasted fan, he sent the comedian the money which he swindled without mercy.

Hakuna pesa nishawahi kula kama hiyo. Tamu sana. Huyu bro ni mjinga sana. Una 50K na unalia?” he added.

According to the self-acclaimed President of Comedy in Africa, the young man lacked knowledge about genuine hard work and how some people earn clean money.

He said that what kills visionary minds or promising Africans is failure to focus on their dreams when things get hard by thinking of shortcuts to get wealth.

People must work hard. Nilikula pesa ya huyo boy because he insisted and I can’t feel guilty over it. Africans, Kenyans, don’t like success. Uko glow, ukisuceeed, wanasema uko Illuminati” Omondi said.
