Countless Kenyan celebrities have joined Jamaicans and the world as a whole in mourning the late Morgan Heritage singer, Peter Morgan following his sudden demise.

Musicians, journalists and creatives drawn from Kenya and other East African countries thronged social media platforms to condole with the Morgan Heritage family following the death of their kin.

Celebrities from Kenya, be it those in the reggae and dancehall industry or others, many could not hold their grief as they mourned Peter Morgan online.

Many remembered him as a great artist who played a major role in making sure reggae and dancehall music took over the world.

As earlier reported by Mideyah Digital, Peter Anthony Morgan, the lead singer of the reggae band Morgan Heritage, a Grammy Award-winning group died on Sunday, February 25.

Morgan’s family confirmed his death in a statement on the band’s social media platforms.

The official statement, however, did not mention his age or provide a cause of death.
